Clinical Experience

Erin completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) degrees at Western Sydney University. Erin is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and can provide Clinical Psychology Services with Medicare. She has continued to maintain her knowledge of the latest advances in treatment of mental health disorders via continued training in CBT and DBT. Erin is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologists Association (ACPA), and she is a board approved supervisor, providing supervision for fellow Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars.

Erin has practiced at the Nepean Anxiety Disorders Clinic at Nepean Hospital and in private practice in the Penrith area for more than 10 years. She has also practiced at the SOCAD Clinic, which specialises in the treatment of OCD and other anxiety disorders. Throughout this time, Erin has consolidated a wealth of knowledge on the diagnosis and management of anxiety disorders, and she enjoys providing evidence-based treatment with a view of offering clients practical skills in managing anxiety symptoms. 

Interests and style

Erin has a particular interest in providing treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and sleep difficulties.

 

Erin endeavours to develop a clear picture of the problem unique to each person and to provide education and treatment methods derived from evidence-based practice. Erin strives to provide a comfortable space to explore anxiety difficulties and offers practical strategies to manage these issues.

 

Erin is currently offering therapy to individuals 16 years and over.
